ANILAM's Kit-style concept provides a solution for practically any requirement. ANILAM has been offering CNC Kits since 1979, so we know better than anyone what it takes to make CNC easy—easy to install and easy to use. Historically, Kit-style configurations were mostly used for retrofit of knee mills. Today, Kit-style systems are also used for new machine tools including rigid-head knee mills and bed mills. So, a Kit-style system can be the best solution for machine tool builders and importers as well as for distributors and retrofitters. Kit-style configurations have bolt-on ready components. A kit can include every component required to turn a manual machine into a controlled one. A full kit basically includes the whole system. All components are tested together as a system before shipping, guaranteeing that the system will work as expected when installed to the machine tool. There are full kits already configured for most machine tools, making it easy to order. 5000-series Kit-style consoles have additional switches for Start, Stop, Jog, Servo reset and Spindle funtions. Rotary switches are provided for Feed rate override, Spindle speed override, Jog axis selection and Jog resolution. The bolt-on ready servo cabinet encloses the servo drives, I/O functionality and power supplies. (There are 10 inputs and 6 outputs standard. It also houses contactors for M-functions (optional for 3000-series controls). The kit includes a pre-wired quick-connect cable for interfacing to the console. Servo cabinet mounting hardware is also provided. |
